Dr. Stephen P. Weeks, President Dr. Weeks is responsible for overall direction of FPI's technology transfer programs. He is an experienced technical and business development director with over 18 years of domestic and international assignments. Dr. Weeks spent 9 years as a research scientist and team leader at AT&T-Bell Labs and, more recently, was the Manager of British Petroleum's Shared Technologies Division and former Business Coordinator for BP's ventures and technology transfer operations. At Competitive Technologies, Inc., he was President of the CTI Intercorporate Licensing subsidiary, and a Senior Vice President in the Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Delaware, a M.S. in Physics from William and Mary, and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society, the Technology Transfer Society, the American Physical Society, and several local Cleveland Organizations.
Mr. Michael F. Allan, Vice President - Technology Assessment Mr. Allan was the former Manager of Eveready Battery Companys Technical Information Center. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in business analysis research, database searching, and intelligence analysis in various technical, product and patent assignments. At Competitive Technologies, Inc., he was Director of Information Resources. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry and a M.S. in Information Sciences, from the University of Buffalo. Mr. Allan is a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, the National Association of Patent Practitioners, and the Patent Information Users' Group.
Mr. Kevin J. Mulroy, Vice President - Marketing Mr. Mulroy's responsibilities include market research, industry analysis patent review, and marketing. At Competitive Technologies, Inc., he developed marketing packages from client portfolios, and implemented marketing strategies. He has a background in market analysis and sales engineering. Mr. Mulroy earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Ohio State University and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. James S. Green, European Representative, ANGLE Technology Ltd., U.K. Dr. Green was formerly Vice President, Ohio Operations at Competitive Technologies, Inc. He has over 25 years of successful experience in technology transfer, international contract research, and patent litigation involving U.S. and European corporations. Dr. Green was a senior executive with Research Corporation Ltd. (RCL), later known as 3i-REL, a technology transfer joint venture involving Research Corporation Technologies, Inc. of the U.S.A. and 3i PLC, Europe's largest venture capital group. Dr. Green also has held senior executive positions at QMC Industrial Research Ltd., and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). He is the author of several CBI reports on innovation and the growth of small technology-based companies. He holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
